Disney recently announced the upcoming November 12th release of their new Disney+ streaming service.
Disney will remove all of it’s content from Netflix, and it is through the Disney+ app that you will be able to access the largest pool of Disney family entertainment and content. Featured on their streaming service will be a catalog of thousands of popular Disney movies, tv shows, and newer programing spin-offs from successful movies chains like Star Wars and the Marvel series.
Other cool inclusions include all the Pixar movies (minus “Toy Story 4” since it’s a new release), High School Musical, 30 seasons of The Simpsons, and even the old versions of their hit cartoon “DuckTales”. Star Wars fans can get their dose of “the force” as episodes 1-7 of Star Wars will be included on here along with “Rogue One”. The list of movies and shows is extensive and growing daily.
Military and Hulu
Disney recently purchased full control of Hulu and will be adding Disney+ as an add-on subscription. While customers are unsure If Hulu will combined Disney+ in their service, or if the monthly cost will go up, Disney+ has a reasonable price point at just $6.99 a month or $69.99 for the year.
However, if you want to save a few coins, Hulu does offer a 10% military discount off it’s monthly fee. New military Hulu customers can get a free one month trial and up to ten percent off for one year on the limited commercial plans.
If you’re heading to Disney with kids, watching Disney+ will be a great way to get everyone in the Disney spirit while on the plane, or in the car. You can also download your favorite shows from the Disney app ahead of time if you will be without a wifi signal. This makes this even more perfect for PCS moves.
